Commercial (everyone starts here) and Commercial + Acting, for those who want TV series and film roles too.
What you need
Current casting headshots (2 or 4, depending on your division), a positive attitude, and availability for auditions at short notice.
How it works
Apply, have a quick chat, we set up your casting profiles, and then we submit you for roles and back you through every audition.
What it costs
Nothing to join. Headshots are $150 per image if you need them, casting platform profiles are paid to the platforms, and we only earn when you do: 20% plus GST on work we book.

Commercial
TV commercials. Perfect for flexible, part-time opportunities in advertising. Real people of all ages, and no experience necessary.

Commercial + Acting
TV commercials, TV series and film. For talent who want to progress in the acting industry.

- Paid profiles on all four platforms, including Showcast

What do I need to apply?
A positive attitude
Confidence in front of the camera is a must. We’re looking for people who light up the screen (and the room!).
Professional casting headshots
A minimum of 2 for Commercial and 4 for Commercial + Acting. If you already have strong headshots, we can use them. If not, we offer in-house sessions tailored for casting.
Location
Talent based in Sydney or Melbourne are preferred. If you’re based elsewhere, you must be willing to travel for auditions and jobs.
Availability
You must be contactable, reliable and able to attend castings or submit auditions at short notice. Being available for auditions and callbacks is essential, whether this is a side gig or something more serious.
Experience
No experience? No problem! Training and acting classes are encouraged though, especially if you’re applying to Commercial + Acting.

Set up your profiles
We help you create your casting profiles on the platforms casting directors use. Having professional looking profiles with stand-out headshots can be the difference between landing auditions or not.

Start getting submitted
Once you’re set up, we begin submitting you for suitable roles that come through daily.

Audition time
First auditions are usually self tapes, filmed at home on your phone and submitted online. Don’t stress, we’ll walk you through it.

Callbacks
If the casting director likes your tape, you may be invited to a callback, often in person and sometimes via Zoom.

You’re booked!
If you land the role, we handle all the contracts and admin. You just show up and do your thing!

The right headshot makes your profile impossible for casting directors to scroll past. Already have current, casting-ready headshots? Great, let’s put them to work. If not, our headshot service is created by one of the best in the business, and there’s no obligation to use it.

No cost to join
There’s no fee to join Morffew Talent. We’re here to get you booked, not to charge you to join.
Commission
We only earn when you do. We take 20% plus GST on all work procured through the agency.
Headshots
Each of our divisions has a minimum number of current, professional casting headshots: 2 for Commercial and 4 for Commercial + Acting.
Already have them?
Great. As long as they’re current and casting-ready, we can use them on your profiles.
Need headshots?
Great images are an investment in your career, so we make it easy. Our headshot service is run by Mark, one of Australia’s leading portrait photographers, with every image made with casting in mind. $150 per image.
Casting platforms
Casting directors search for talent on these platforms every day, so your profiles are a key part of getting seen. Commercial talent need profiles on Casting Networks, Altai Casting and Casting.com. Commercial + Acting adds Showcast.

Questions, answered
How much does it cost to join?
Nothing. There’s no joining fee. You’ll need current, professional headshots, which you can bring or book through our studio at $150 per image, plus paid profiles on the casting platforms, which go directly to the platforms. We only earn when you do: we take 20% plus GST on all work procured through the agency.
Can I use my own headshots?
Sure, as long as they’re current and look professional. Include them with your application and we’ll let you know if they’re suitable for casting (casting headshots are very different to modelling shots). Casting directors want to see the real you, so your headshots can’t be overly edited or made up.
Do I have to pay for casting platforms?
Yes. Commercial talent need profiles on Casting Networks, Altai Casting and Casting.com. Commercial + Acting adds Showcast. These fees go directly to the platforms, and we help you set everything up.
How often will I book work?
This depends on demand and whether your look suits casting briefs. We submit you regularly, but booking work is never guaranteed.
